- Rnd 2: Chain 2, 2 DC in each stitch, join with a slip stitch in the first DC (26 sts)
- Rnd 3: Ch 2, dc in first st, *2dc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around ending with 2dc in last st, join with a sl st in first dc. 39 sts.

- Rnd 5: Ch 2, *dc in first three sts, 2dc in next st, repeat from * around, join with a sl st in first dc. 65 sts.
- That produced a disk of 7.00 to 7.25 inches in diamater. Good for me.
- Rnd 6 to desired height: Ch 2, dc in each st around, join with a sl st in first dc. 65 sts.
- used a smaller hook for the last 2 or 3 rounds.

You may choose to join rnds or work in a continuous spiral as it makes no difference to the formula. Make an adjustable ring (magic loop) and work Rnd 1 into it. Or Ch 2 and work Rnd 1 into the 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in ring. —6 sts
Rnd 2: 2 sc into each st around —12 sts
Rnd 3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around —18 sts
Rnd 4: (Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) around —24 sts
Rnd 5: (Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) around —30 sts
Rnd 6: (Sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st) around —36 sts
