Example

Chain multiples of 3 plus 2.

V-stitch (v-st): dc, ch 1, dc in same space or stitch.

Row 1: v-st in 5th ch from hook, * sk 2 chs, v-st in next. Repeat from * across to last 2 chs, sk next, dc in last.

Row 2: ch 3, turn, * v-st in each ch 1 sp of prev row v-st. Repeat from * across to last, dc in tch for last stitch.
